Enrique had been in a bad shelter for more than 3 years. The caregiver has become sick and because he looked so bad, Marita took him with her. He is very skinny. Unfortunately, he has been tested positive to Leishmania and Filaria. Enrique is currently being treated against these diseases (singly) and will be ready and available for adoption when he is recovered.

Enrique is currently in foster care in Germany and will be available for The Netherlands and Belgium. His foster family have chosen to rename him because Enrique is difficult for them to pronounce. They call him Ash, chosen by his sponsor, because of his beautiful ash-gray coat.
