Scooby, oh wonderful Scooby! For who we have such a heavy heart as we fear he will never find a home. And even though we will miss him so much when he would leave the shelter, he so deserves it! Every dog deserves a chance, including our great Scooby.

Scooby is still young and has a whole life ahead of him. What a shame it would be and terribly sad if he had to spend many more years of life behind bars.

For Scooby we are looking for a quiet home with preferably a large garden. Scooby isn’t the type of dog that would be happy in a small apartment. He needs quite some space to feel in his element. We are looking for an owner who gives him love, but also radiates peace of mind. He really needs this. The new owner should also take him on walks over fields or quite roads! He loves to be actively involved with people. He even likes to play with us on on the agility ramp. Something you would not expect with his breed. Scooby can not be placed with other dogs.

Scooby is an amazing guy, but should be considered a heavy weight champion in terms of strength and determination. Once he acknowledges you he is just a big blob of happiness. Comfortably (bit heavy though) lying on your lap and enjoying just looking around.

However his character and strength should not be underestimated. He is without a doubt one of the strongest dogs in the shelter and will need a with this breed experienced owner to learn how to shine again.
